Creativity Workshop in Prague

Register Now

Program Overview

Prague, the city of Mozart and Kafka! The Creativity Workshop will take place within walking distance of the exquisitely preserved Old Town with its exquisite clock tower and famous Jewish synagogues and cemetery. Musical concerts and puppet theatre performances are just a few of the cultural events of this beautiful city.

Prague invites you to wander its winding, cobblestone streets aimlessly. It seems that everywhere you turn you see a jewel of Baroque or Art Nouveau architecture. Prague's old cafes are famous for their beauty, their luscious desserts, and their relaxing atmosphere. Prague's beauty and culture are perfect for inspiring the creator in you.

More on Program Overview

Each day the Creativity Workshop in Prague will meet for approximately 3 hours. We will explore ways to expand our creativity through a series of exercises including guided visualizations, creative writing, memoir, oral storytelling, automatic writing, map making, photography, collage, and free-form drawing. Many of the exercises are focused on the helping you see and absorb this remarkable city.

What will you learn?

The exercises and talks by the instructors will focus on ways to:

"A new self-awareness came to light for me during the Prague Workshop, a realization that the creative and personal issues of my life were not there by accident, that they were in fact central to my growth. I reached this awareness due to the Workshop's special exercises focused on Prague. What was remote became intimate, and your view of yourself and your perception of the past, present and future is amplified."

Stephen Bracco, Freelance Writer, Brooklyn, NY

"The Workshop was a wonderful celebration of our individual possibilities. Everyone jumped in wholeheartedly and supported each other's undertakings. One of the biggest surprises was the effect of drawing on my work and life. I'm one of those non- drawing people, but as I sketched, it helped me to see more and more. I can't wait to take the Workshop again. It is food for life."
